MISSION

• The core mission of Pacific Institute of Safety and Health (PISH) is to promote learning, knowledge and skills needed to succeed as persons and professionals, and the values and sensitivity necessary to become leaders in the field of Occupational Safety and Health.
• The mission is also to create a transformative professional, occupational and educational experience of its educators and alumni - for students, focusing to develop deep disciplinary knowledge; problem solving; leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; and personal health and well-being.
• To cultivate a safe culture in the community committed to impact society in a transformative way — regionally, nationally, and globally.
• The institute will distinguish itself as a diverse, socially responsible learning community of highest quality discernible in its vision statement.
